This year, our Senior Santa Giving Tree returns as one of our most loved ways to spread joy, connection, and comfort throughout the season.

At Encore, daily life is built on togetherness. Our residents are the center of our community, and every program we create, from celebrations to wellness activities, is designed to honor who they are and the stories they bring. The Giving Tree is an extension of that care. It’s a chance for families, neighbors, businesses, and friends across Avalon Park to share in the warmth of the season and brighten a senior’s holiday in a meaningful way.

How the Senior Santa Giving Tree Works

Instead of selecting ornaments, this year’s Giving Tree is simple and straightforward:
Just choose an item from the wish list, wrap and label it, and drop it off at Encore anytime before December 19th.

Participating is easy:

1. Choose a Gift From the Wish List
   Pick any item you’d like to donate—every gift supports a resident or one of our community partners.
2. Grant a Wish
   Purchase the item you selected, whether it’s a comfort item, a necessity, or a small joyful treat.
3. Wrap with Care
   Wrap and label your gift, then return it to Encore by December 20th.

What’s on the Wish List This Year

Our seniors’ requests range from practical items that support daily comfort to creative supplies that spark joy. Popular wishes include:

• Body wash, shampoo, and gentle lotions
• Non-skid socks, slippers, and soft blankets
• Light fragrances and fashion jewelry
• Art supplies like watercolor sets, brushes, and canvas boards
• 300–500 piece puzzles
• Baby clothing donations for partner programs

These small gifts hold big emotional value. They bring ease, warmth, and a sense of celebration into the season.
