Job Title: Dishwasher

Reports To: Food Services Director

Job Description – SUMMARY:

The dishwasher is responsible for operating the dish machine and maintaining the cleanliness of the dish machine area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLIT1ES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Operates a dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and food service equipment.
2.  Wash and store pots and pans.
3.  Sets up and cleans dish machine area; checks temperatures and soap dispensing levels.
4.  Uses sterilization standards as defined by the Department of Health.
5.  Stores clean equipment and utensils.
6.  Assists in maintaining preparation and service areas in a sanitary condition.
7.  Empties garbage to dumpsite.
    Sweeps and mops floors.

Protects privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to the resident, employee, residence, company information and records.
Maintains a safe and secure working environment and practices safe working habits. Complies with the attendance policy.
Maintains neat appearance, good personal hygiene, and appropriate attire. Participates in training, in services, and attends meetings as required.

Assists with special projects as assigned and performs other related duties.
