FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR CENTRAL FLORIDA SENIORS IN NEED OF ENERGY BILL ASSISTANCE

The Senior Resource Alliance (SRA) is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program (EHEAP), offering up to $5,000 to qualifying seniors in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Brevard counties. This federally funded program assists seniors 60 or older with energy bills during emergencies, such as disconnection or past due payments. In addition to energy bill assistance, EHEAP funds may also be used for items like portable fans, air conditioners, and heating/cooling unit repairs.
