How You Can Get Involved
The Senior Santa Giving Tree is a fun and simple way to give back this holiday season. When you visit Encore, you’ll see our festive tree in the lobby, decorated with ornaments. Each ornament holds a special wish from one of our seniors. These wishes range from everyday essentials to items that add a little extra joy to their lives, like cozy socks, body lotion, or even art supplies for creative minds.
Here’s how you can join the fun:
- Pick an Ornament: Stop by Encore before December 19th and select an ornament from the tree.
- Grant a Wish: Shop for the item listed on the ornament.
- Wrap with Love: Return the wrapped gift with the ornament attached to Encore by December 20th.
It’s that easy—and your thoughtful gift will make someone’s holiday a little brighter.
What’s on the Wish List?
Our seniors’ wish list includes a variety of items that are both practical and fun, such as:
- Shampoo, body wash, and lotion
- Non-slippery socks and slippers
- Fashion jewelry and body sprays
- Watercolor paints, brushes, and canvases
- Puzzles (300–500 pieces)
- Baby clothes
These are small things that can bring so much joy and comfort to our residents, many of whom love a mix of practical gifts and creative surprises!
