Xio Callahan Promoted to Encore at Avalon Park’s Executive Director
Avalon Park, Fla. (February 1, 2016) – Xio Callahan, who has served as business director since before the facility opened, has been promoted to executive director of Encore at Avalon Park. In this capacity, Callahan will oversee all facets of the facility.
“After its f
irst year, Encore at Avalon Park has exceeded everyone’s expectations in providing quality senior care for the East Orlando community,” Callahan says. “I’m proud to lead this team and grow Encore into a significant option for seniors and their families during their time of need.”
Callahan has worked in the health care industry since she was 15 years old. She’s overseen nearly every aspect of senior care, including working for a decade with Medicare and Medicaid. At Encore at Avalon Park, Callahan has managed the facilities billing, vendor relationships and human resources, among other tasks.
In addition, her husband is the senior pastor at Legacy International Church and she volunteers in the homeless community every other Friday.
